Introducing Juanita "Wanda" Halden
Introducing the wonderful Juanita "Wanda" Halden on the Facilitation team this GROUNDED.
Wanda is a West Galari Wiradyuri woman, with bloodline connection to Barapa Barapa Country; a community connector and licensed Wayapa Wuurrk® practitioner, walking between worlds of Country, community and contemporary life.
Her work lives at the riverbend of movement, story and cultural reconnection — creating spaces where people are invited to slow down, breathe, and recall cellular memory; to embody their place within the living system of Mother Earth.
Through her practice, Wanda holds trauma-informed, culturally grounded containers for healing and reflection, supporting individuals and communities to regulate the nervous system, restore balance, and reconnect with Spirit and Country.
She is the facilitator of “Walking the Wayapa Wuurrk Way with Wanda”, a regional wellbeing offering presented through Ngalgarra Resources Indigenous Corporation. This work is deeply rooted in reciprocity, respect and relational accountability to Country, supporting farming families, community workers and regional communities navigating times of change.
Wanda’s approach is not about fixing —
it is about remembering.
Remembering how to listen.
Remembering how to move.
Remembering how to belong.
Remembering our Earth-connected way of being.
Her practice invites people to step beyond inherited ways of being and into a more embodied, Earth-connected way of living — where wellbeing is not separate from Country, but arises through relationship with it.
